The D-ROCK is a bi-tonal hybrid cymbal that is dark, versatile and controllable.

Sonic contrast develops as the major part of the bow and bell is deeply hammered, tightly lathed and left with a dark finish. The edge of the cymbal receives the equivalent lathing and hammering, yet finished to a brilliant sheen. The underside of the cymbal fully receives the same lathing and hammering and is left completely dark.

The Rides are dark and complex. The crashes are complex or may be refeered to as having a darker bite. The hats are dark and maintain a medium wash.
