Ignazio Di Fresco is a professional drummer and drum teacher. He founded the Accademia Musica Moderna in Palermo in 1999 and is the author of the drum method “Different Inspiration,” published by Curci Edizioni. He has collaborated with numerous artists and groups, including the Seventy Funky Band, Matteo Setti (Notre Dame de Paris), Daniela Pedali, and others.
He describes himself as a versatile artist, specialized in Funk and Fusion, but he also brings great musicality to many other genres he plays, including Blues and Latin music.
Currently, he is the drummer in the orchestra for the musicals Dancing Queen (Mamma Mia), One Night on Broadway, and Alice in the Wonderland.
